Store loose leaf teas in an airtight container away from light and heat. Kept in suggested conditions black tea and our herbal teas can last 12 - 14 months. The oxidation process makes it suitable for longer-term storage as compared to other tea types. However, it is still advisable to restock often for premium flavor. Use fresh filtered water when steeping all tea blends. The tea base used for this blend has large leaves and therefore can be steeped longer than more delicate teas or broken leaf teas. Though tea balls and strainers are often used for tea that isn't pre-bagged, ideal methods of infusing loose leaf teas employ strainers that allow for the tea leaves to completely unfurl and release their flavor. Teapots with removable strainers for tea will allow a fuller flavor. Some tea enthusiasts dispense with using strainers altogether and drop leaves in the pot directly and then strain the tea when serving into cups. When employing this method be sure to pour out all tea or remaining liquid will get bitter from over-steeping. The strength and flavor of tea is a personal experience. Pendulums: How to prepare your pendulum upon arrival Holistic healers use a pendulum for measuring energy fields or as a dowsing tool for divination purposes. Caring for your Nomadic Hair Falls is as simple as folding a t-shirt. Only use your fingers to "brush" out your hair falls off their tangles. NEVER use a brush! Washing is not necessary unless you end up spilling something on them. If cleaning is needed you will need to braid them loosely and wash them delicately, hand wash and hang dry, but this is the last ditch decision you should make since it is hand spun yarn. When storing in between uses take each pair together and spin them creating a spiral effect. When this is done they will automatically curl in together. Store in a box, cloth bag or really anything you store your clothing or costuming in a way for moisture. Never in Plastic or it may take the smell. Video coming soon! Essential Oils used in all of our products are organic, preservative free that must always be stored in dark colored glass containers away from heat or direct sunlight to preserve their quality. Essential oils require dilution to prevent adverse reactions.  Because of the strength of essential oils, we are cautious of over-using them and want to make sure that families always use them safely.  Oils Considered NOT Safe During Pregnancy Aniseed, Angelica, Basil, Black pepper, Camphor, Cinnamon, Chamomile, Clary Sage (often used during labor by midwives safely), clove, fennel, fir, ginger, horseradish (should not be used by anyone), Jasmine, Juniper, Marjoram, Mustard, Mugwort (should not be used by anyone), Myrrh, Nutmeg, Oregano, Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, Wintergreen. Peppermint essential oil may decrease milk supply while nursing, and as such, I avoid it topically while nursing. Use on Babies and Children We will recommend that you should be giving essential oils in any form to children or used undiluted on the skin. They should be diluted  more than they are for adult application and care should be taken with any essential oils considered “hot” as they may cause damage to the skin. Others, like peppermint, rosemary, eucalyptus and wintergreen should not be used around young children or babies. These herbs contain menthol and 1,8-cineole. These compounds can slow breathing (or even stop it completely) in very young children or those with respiratory problems. Let’s just say mostly no for kids please. Remove packing before use. Use only tealight warmers or UL listed electric warmers approved for wax melts. Read and follow all instructions provided with your warmer before use. Do NOT leave melter unattended while in use. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Do NOT add water, Do NOT melt on stove top or in non-approved appliances. Use only in well ventilated areas away from flammable materials. Discontinue use if the dish contains less than 1/2" of wax to avoid burns and container breaking under heat. To ensure you get the most enjoyment out of your candles, it is important to follow standard candle safety and care guidelines. Hedgemade Goods Co. is not responsible for misuse. Each candle includes safety instructions on the bottom label.  General Candle Safety: Burn within sight on a level, heat resistant surface away from drafts, children, pets and flammable objects. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not touch hot glass on a burning or cooling candle. Keep the wax pool free of debris and wood wick trimmings. Always burn candles in a well ventilated room. Never burn a candle for more than 4 hrs. Never extinguish candles with water. If smoking occurs, extinguish candles, trim wick and relight. Handle glass jar with care. If the jar is broken, chipped or cracked, discontinue use. Discontinue burning once 1/2" of wax remains. Burning beyond this point can present a fire hazard. Due to the unpredictable nature of soy wax, it is normal to see some adhesion changes within the glass over time. This does not affect the ability of the wax to burn or mean the candle is defective. Please Recycle your used containers!  All product and packaging materials are meant to be reused or recycled. If you choose to reuse the glass, please do so with caution. Wait for wax to cool and re-solidify after the last burn (when you have about 1/2" left). Using a spoon or butter knife, gently lift and scoop the wax (soy is soft and easy to remove) from the bottom of the glass while standing over a trash can. Please do so safely at your own risk.
